Q: Will this fit my Hilux with a 22R engine?
A: No. This carburetor is only for the Toyota 3Y 2.0L engine. The 22R (2.4L) uses a completely different carburetor (e.g., P/N 21100-35290 / 21100-35420). Always verify your engine code and part number.
Q: What does "Manual Choke" mean?
A: This unit requires a manual choke cable connected from the dashboard to the carburetor. You pull the knob to close the choke plate for cold starts and push it back in as the engine warms up. No electric choke wiring is needed.
