Q: What is the Anti-Dieseling Solenoid for?
A: The Idle Stop Solenoid keeps the throttle plate slightly open at idle when the ignition is ON, and retracts when you turn the key OFF. This prevents the engine from "dieseling" (continuing to run after shutdown). It must be wired to a switched 12V source.
Q: What does "Manual Choke, Mechanical" mean?
A: This carburetor requires a manual choke cable connected from the dashboard to the carburetor. You pull the knob to close the choke plate for cold starts and push it back in as the engine warms up. No electric choke components are needed.
Q: Will this fit my Nissan Hardbody (D21) with Z24?
